Does EinGin download music from Spotify?+
No. EinGin reads track information and matches it with music already in your local Engine DJ library. It does not download audio from streaming services.
Which playlist sources can I use?+
Paste a Spotify playlist URL directly. For TIDAL, YouTube, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music and many other services, export the playlist from Soundiiz as TXT. You can also import your own correctly formatted TXT file.
What format should the TXT file use?+
Use one track per line in this format: Artist - Track title. UTF-8 and UTF-16 text files are supported, and blank lines are ignored. For the best matching, do not add numbering, headings or links. TXT playlists exported by Soundiiz already use the supported format. Download the TXT format guide for AI.
Will EinGin create duplicate tracks in my Engine DJ library?+
No. EinGin matches each requested track with the music already in your Engine DJ library and adds the existing library entry to the new playlist. The same track can appear in several playlists without creating another library entry or audio file. If a track is already in the target playlist, EinGin skips it.
Will it change or delete my existing playlists?+
EinGin creates the new playlist you request and leaves existing playlists in place. It also offers a database backup before writing changes.
Can I try it before buying?+
Yes. Download it free, connect your library and review found, uncertain and missing tracks. A license is required only to create the finished playlist.
Does it work with Serato or macOS?+
The first release supports Engine DJ libraries on Windows. Join the waiting list for macOS or a similar Serato feature.
